We at Nike Factory Store Wembley have 20-hour-per-week opportunities available. These are fixed-term roles until early September 2026.
Availability required: Fully flexible, including weekends, Saturday and Sunday, and bank holidays.
As a Nike Store Athlete (Retail Assistant), your mission is to deliver a premium consumer experience by understanding individual needs and providing complete solutions through Nike products and services.
Responsibilities
- Use customer service skills, basic sales techniques and product knowledge to connect customers with the right products and drive sales.
- Build the bond between consumer and brand by providing superior service and adapting brand stories to the retail setting.
- Maintain knowledge of store departments and operate the cash register, perform shipping and receiving duties, stock the floor, clean and build visual displays when necessary.
- Serve as a product knowledge resource for consumers and entry-level associates.
- Seek educational opportunities to develop advanced or specialized knowledge about selling, Nike products and culture, and sales and service techniques.
- Assist Leads, Senior Associates and Managers in training entry-level associates.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts through proactive customer service.
Qualifications
- One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for the Nike brand.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English or another relevant language.
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service.
