Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the requirement management process, tool and sync with configuration management.
Responsible for managing system requirements, importing and exporting stakeholder requests and requirements, and helping structure and group requests for teams and requirements engineers.
Set up the project’s requirements database structure, work item types and attributes.
Govern the requirements process and use of attributes tailored to project, program and platform-specific needs.
Ensure process compliance across teams related to requirements as defined in planning documents.
Generate requirement-status reports, including requirement traceability documents, and help projects, programs and platforms execute requirement analysis and scope definition through to features.
Ensure specific requirements, including regulations and Mercedes-Benz standards, are collected and considered.
Create standardized reporting processes in the requirement management system and be responsible for branching, configuration and baselining of requirements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Software, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or a related major.
Minimum 5 years of experience at OEMs or tier-one suppliers in infotainment, IDC or CCC system development, with hands-on experience in requirement management, system engineering and change management.
Deep understanding of the requirement management lifecycle, requirement elicitation, traceability, baselining and branching.
Good knowledge of automotive regulatory requirements and system-specification creation and review processes.
Excellent technical project management, conflict management and stakeholder alignment skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills, with experience configuring requirement-management tooling, database structures, work-item types and attributes.
Solid system troubleshooting capability and the ability to resolve complex requirement inconsistency, traceability and integration issues.
Advanced knowledge of risk management, R&D processes, methods and tools, and verification and validation strategies.
Self-responsibility, team-player mindset, and very good communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel within China and abroad to support launches at joint ventures and suppliers.
Fluent English for business and technical communication; German is a plus.
