Tasks

System Validation

Conduct end-to-end testing, including off-board subsystems, to verify that the designed system fulfills all requirements.
Define and maintain test concepts, test cases, and KPIs; work with testers, SFOs, and software developers on case realization and performance improvement.
Ensure testing efficiency and quality to guarantee system maturity.
Arrange test resources and prepare testing activities.
Lead the System Validation Plan and system release for various carlines.

Issue Management

Create issue reports, analyze and track issues, drive solutions, and complete related activities.
Support the FO in refining requirements.

Standard Monitoring and Analysis

Clarify and technically review Chinese remote monitoring regulations and standards while collaborating with research and development partners.
Lead system upgrades following new GB/T requirements and local standards.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree or above in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field.

Experience: More than three years of Mercedes-Benz-related experience with E/E systems, telematics services, system or software validation, and release. Experience in function or service development and backend development at Mercedes-Benz is preferred.

Test management and project coordination skills.
Ability to solve problems, formulate solutions, and drive them through validated delivery.
Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and prioritize conflicting demands.
Organized, structured, proactive, self-responsible, and motivated.

Specific knowledge: Native Chinese speaker with fluent English; German is beneficial. Good understanding of vehicle E/E architecture, OBD development, MIC/backend development, E/E system validation, and ECU software validation. Knowledge of BMS, E-Motor, central controller, T-Box, FlexRay, Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, LIN, and diagnostic tools such as CANoe, INCA, and DTS is required. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills are expected.
