As a Regional Planner, you will lead the product range strategy across Primark’s Iberia store portfolio, ensuring ranges reflect local customer needs and market trends. Partnering with Buying, Merchandising and Design teams, you will use data-driven insights to influence product decisions and optimise performance. You will identify growth opportunities, support trading decisions, and help maximise profitability across the region. This highly collaborative role requires regular onsite presence in Arthur Ryan House and occasional travel to Spain and Portugal.

What You’ll Do as Regional Planner

  • Define and deliver Iberia-specific product ranges, using market, customer, climate and location insights to shape store, category and country-level plans.
  • Lead grading, option planning and sizing analysis, providing clear recommendations to Buying, Merchandising and Design teams.
  • Monitor sales performance, competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimise range profitability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Space Planning, Retail and Product, to ensure the right products are ranged in the right stores with the right space allocation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor across the business, delivering insight-led reports and presentations that influence product direction, investment decisions and trading actions.
  • Drive alignment between global product strategy and Iberia commercial priorities, ensuring local customer needs are reflected across seasonal, promotional and capsule ranges.

What You’ll Get

Healthcare, pension, potential bonus, 27 days of leave plus bank holidays, the option to buy five additional days, Tax Saver Tickets, a fitness centre and a subsidised cafeteria.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Merchandising or Branch Merchandising, operating at Merchandiser level with end-to-end category ownership, ideally within a fast-paced fashion retail environment.
  • Strong expertise in grading, range building, forecasting and trading analysis, with advanced Excel skills and experience using merchandising, planning and analytics systems.
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders across Buying, Merchandising and Design, using data-driven insights to shape product strategy and commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data and market trends into clear, compelling recommendations.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic retail environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the credibility to build strong cross-functional relationships, drive alignment and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
