Job Description

• Implement, maintain and continuously improve automated testing solutions for enterprise software systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
• Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks, reusable test components and quality engineering solutions.
• Implement and assure the quality of product increments, including test automation, CI/CD integration, security and compliance testing, and defect management.
• Develop and execute automated UI, API, integration, regression and end-to-end test suites.
• Perform root cause analysis, defect tracking, quality risk assessment and continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Create and maintain test strategies, test cases, quality metrics and technical documentation.
• Build it, test it and run it.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ working experience in software testing, quality assurance, test automation or a related field.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional product teams.
• Strong hands-on experience in UI and API test automation.
• Experience with open-source technologies and enterprise tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• IT, software testing or programming-related certification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English and good customer service orientation.
• Analytical, passionate and committed to technology and product quality.

Knowledge and Skills

• Develop highly complex test automation components, frameworks and systems.
• Establish test automation architecture, design and quality strategy.
• Create technical documentation, test strategies, quality reports and automation guidelines.
• Design reliable, scalable and maintainable enterprise test automation solutions.
• Advise product teams and customers on testability, quality risks, automation strategy and quality engineering practices.
• Lead automation initiatives and support or mentor quality engineering teams.
• Present test strategies, quality insights, risks and automation solutions.

• Test Automation: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber / BDD
• Programming Languages: TypeScript, Java, JavaScript, Python
• Test Frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, Pytest
• API Testing: REST API, Rest Assured, Postman
• CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD
• Cloud: GCP
• Containers and Microservices: Kubernetes and Docker
• Database Testing: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Performance Testing: JMeter or k6
• Test Management: Jira, Confluence, Xray or Zephyr
• Monitoring and Observability: Datadog
