Purpose

Contributes to the achievement of store KPI targets by building an emotional connection with customers and living the Brand Values. Serves and sells to customers, achieves operational excellence, and executes store operations involving product flow and cashier procedures.

• Completes sales transactions quickly and accurately while following cash protection procedures.
• Uses selling expertise at the cash desk to create add-on sales and build customer loyalty.
• Handles returns, refunds, and exchanges as opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
• Assists with deliveries and replenishes the sales floor.
• Prioritizes merchandise flow to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintains adequate supplies and an effective stockroom environment, where applicable.

Physical Requirements

The role regularly requires talking or hearing and frequently requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching, and handling merchandise. Employees may occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and operate a Brannock device. The role frequently requires lifting or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months of retail experience.
• Basic numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
