Context & Mission

A leading global manufacturing and life sciences organization is executing a worldwide digital transformation program to replace legacy paper and decentralized Permit-to-Work workflows with a unified, cloud-based Enterprise Electronic Permit-to-Work SaaS solution. The program includes a global rollout across production, R&D, and tertiary facilities, onboarding more than 20,000 internal personnel and contractor partners. The platform integrates with enterprise ERP/CMMS and cloud data lake architectures.

The delivery model combines waterfall program governance, including multi-wave deployment gates, compliance sign-offs, centralized testing gates, and transition to steady-state run/support, with agile sprints for core-model build, configuration, interface testing, and continuous feedback.

Role Overview

The Project Manager & Test Lead will orchestrate the global multi-wave deployment while establishing, structuring, and leading the Centralized Testing & Quality Assurance Workstream, including core-model validation, System Integration Testing (SIT), and centralized User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global program execution across core build, pilot, multi-wave rollouts, and handover to run/AIMS.
• Maintain the master project schedule, milestones, dependencies, budget envelope, and RAID log.
• Facilitate agile configuration ceremonies while enforcing waterfall stage gates, including core-model sign-off, centralized UAT go/no-go, site deployment readiness, and hypercare exit.
• Align technical delivery milestones with Change Management ADKAR gate reviews.
• Define, govern, and execute the centralized test strategy covering unit testing, SIT, core-model UAT, non-regression, and interface/data testing.
• Lead the centralized test team, coordinating technical testers, business representatives, and vendor test engineers.
• Define formal entry and exit criteria for centralized UAT and manage defect triage workflows and SLA tracking in Jira.
• Oversee integration and data-flow testing between the SaaS solution, enterprise ERP/CMMS systems, and enterprise data platforms.
• Produce formal test summary reports and quality metrics for executive Steering Committees and deployment stage gates.
• Manage deliverables, technical backlogs, and commitments with the external SaaS provider and systems integrators.
• Track enterprise dependencies, including IAM/Single Sign-On and external contractor access frameworks.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience within global manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or regulated industrial environments.
• Proven hybrid-delivery experience, combining PMP or PRINCE2 with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe.
• 4+ years leading testing teams and managing structured test lifecycles; ISTQB certification or equivalent practical expertise is valued.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence, test management, and familiarity with enterprise ERP/CMMS ecosystems.
• At least upper-intermediate English is mandatory; French or additional European languages are a plus.
