Tasks

Objective of Job: Telematics project lead leads RDC in-house Android CIVIC development and delivery process for China market with global corporation, including project target setup, carline rollout strategy definition, requirement and feature rollout ramp-up management, release and configuration management, project infrastructure definition and defect management for the complete lifecycle of hardware and software development.

The role cooperates with stakeholders in China and globally to create transparency among projects and resources and maintain an efficient development project management system.

Main tasks:

1. Collaborate with different stakeholders, acting as the interface between different projects and providing necessary development project information and technical consultancy for relevant stakeholders.
2. Define and conduct cross-functional product development systems and tools for China market development projects to create transparency for project milestones across domains and resource distribution. Own the defined product development systems and tools, continuously develop the systems and processes, and coordinate tool and system development involving IT or third parties.
3. Provide technical support for project leaders and function managers with project management knowledge.
4. Support surrounding processes, including demand management, test management, and legal evaluation, to cover the complete lifecycle of delivering a China-fit product.
5. Support team matters and organization build-up.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and experience in vehicle hardware and software development projects.
• Good knowledge of product conception and design thinking methodology.
• Experience at OEMs or suppliers for E/E, especially Digital Cabin and Connectivity software development, is a plus.
• Experience working in an international company is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in vehicle or component development projects.
• Experience with in-car Digital Cabin applications such as navigation, infotainment, or connectivity is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment; Agile/Scrum methodology and experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner are a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, such as project planning, risk analysis, and PMP, is a plus.
• Basic understanding of software development quality methodologies.
• Knowledge of vehicle EE architecture or software architecture is an advantage.
• Familiarity with vehicle development processes is an advantage.
• Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Willingness to travel within China and internationally.
• Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
• AI tools usage is expected in daily business.
• Self-responsibility, team-player attitude, and very good communication and presentation skills.
• Very good English; German is a plus.
