Objective of Job
Project Logistic Lead — EE Upgrade and Carline Projects
- Define logistics timelines and key milestones for prototype parts supply for ongoing carline projects in alignment with internal teams and counterparts in Germany.
- Closely track project status to ensure timely parts ordering and delivery.
TA/TS Project
- Define TA/TS BoM with testing engineers and BBAC users based on testing needs.
- Work with BBAC BVA, P&S, and production teams on demand planning, contracts, and handovers.
- Coordinate with RD, BBAC, warehouse, and import/export teams to track testing progress and ensure timely parts availability.
Prototype Procurement
- Develop and optimize a comprehensive logistics network and supply chain strategy for prototype procurement.
- Analyze RD China business requirements and provide purchasing support for complex, technically driven issues in collaboration with engineers.
- Lead supplier contracting and negotiations and manage delivery tracking to ensure timely execution of RD China development and testing projects.
Import and Export Operation
- Provide professional import and export solutions for internal customers.
- Coordinate with Germany shipping centers, transport companies, and brokers to arrange transportation, including airfreight, railway, and seaway.
- Manage HS classification for import/export shipments and review brokers' input.
- Maintain systems and documentation according to audit requirements.
- Manage customs audits and inspections, control risks, and implement export control measures.
- Apply digital tools and perform billing checks, including timely duty and tax payments.
Process Optimization
- Continuously optimize processes and systems and drive digitalization for higher efficiency and cost reduction.
Cross-functional Project
- Prepare management reports and complete other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- University degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Logistics Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of work experience in purchasing or world trade; automotive industry experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle development processes; technical knowledge of vehicle structure and BoM structure is beneficial.
- Profound understanding of logistics and general supply chain processes.
- Good communication skills and a logical mindset.
- Strong sense of responsibility, motivation to continuously improve, and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Strong collaborative spirit and adaptability to changing demands.
- Fluency in English and Chinese; German is an advantage.
