You have proven experience in support functions for trading activities, gained within a broker, execution bank or software provider. You want to leverage your technical skills and interest in a transversal role working with the Front Office, technology partners and clients.
Your team
You will join the three-person Execution Services Business Support team based in Paris. The team supports Execution Services, which provides a multi-asset offering across more than 100 markets in Europe, the USA and APAC, covering equities, ETFs, bonds and listed derivatives across multiple underlying assets.
Your responsibilities
As a strategic link between the Front Office, IT and technology partners, you will drive the evolution and performance of execution platforms.
- Manage trading solutions for brokerage activities in equities, ETFs, listed derivatives and bonds, ensuring high-quality connectivity and technical expertise.
- Administer and optimize reference trading platforms, including Fidessa/ION and Ullink/BTCS.
- Manage vendor relationships, challenge releases and coordinate major upgrades.
- Gather and prioritize business needs, translating trader requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Maintain the link between trading desks, IT teams and external providers.
- Master the FIX protocol for client onboarding, including DMA, Algo and Care, and connectivity with exchanges, brokers and counterparties.
- Document order-routing workflows, define API mappings and lead technical certifications.
- Use SQL to extract transactional data and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Use Python to automate testing and monitoring, and VBA to create tactical tools.
Skills required
- In-depth knowledge of the complete Front-to-Back order lifecycle for equities, derivatives and bonds.
- Strong knowledge of the FIX protocol.
- Significant experience with Fidessa (ION), Ullink (BTCS) or an equivalent platform.
- Advanced SQL and operational Python automation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with demanding internal and external stakeholders.
- Structured analytical and problem-solving skills in critical environments.
- High autonomy and sense of responsibility.
