Tasks

Objectives: Build and continuously optimise an industry-leading Software Engineering Management System for Mercedes-Benz RD China, enabling consistent, high-quality, AI-empowered and scalable delivery of complex automotive projects, including IVI, ADAS and TCU.

Build an industry-leading software engineering management system with cost and efficiency governance.
Design an end-to-end software engineering lifecycle covering requirements, system and software design, implementation, integration, verification, release and post-release activities.
Establish unified requirements, governance and end-to-end engineering controllability, including requirements management, architecture, interface and consistency governance.
Establish a vehicle software verification and release management system with lifecycle risk management.
Continuously improve the process management system based on vehicle programmes and project execution.
Align projects, suppliers and toolchains to enable process-driven execution, including AI-based capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in vehicle software or complex system software development at Chinese OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
Direct experience building and operating software engineering systems for IVI, ADAS or TCU.
Practical experience with cross-domain collaboration, hardware-software coupling, multi-configuration parallel development and system-level integration.
Experience working with software suppliers and Tier-1 partners.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence and Feishu, and the ability to use AI tools in process and quality control.
Fluent English, good communication skills, eagerness to learn and a proactive approach.
