Mercedes-Benz Vans is expanding its battery-electric light commercial vehicle production capacity and implementing a new plant next to its existing production facility in Jawor. We are looking for motivated employees to help shape the future of mobility.

Scope of duties

Plan and establish the new production facility for the hybrid/VAN.EA vehicle project, including paint shop processes and systems in Jawor.
Manage a work package, such as a production line or process, and lead sub-projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Implement innovative production processes for new model series.
Drive process harmonization and standardization between VAN sites.
Report regularly on project progress and achieved targets to the project or team manager.
Promote effective communication between departments and locations.
Execute and guide new model planning, including influencing product development.
Prepare project assignments and steer projects in line with cost, deadline and quality objectives.
Collaborate with vehicle development, series preparation and production units.
Prepare and perform acceptance inspections and testing of production systems and procedures in accordance with legal and corporate regulations.

Qualifications

University degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, automation systems or a similar field.
Several years of professional experience in production planning, paint shop systems planning or process technology.
Practical project management experience.
Analytical and strategic thinking with a focus on results and targets.
Teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration and strong problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and openness to change.
Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
Fluent Polish and English; German is an advantage where applicable.
