Atos is looking for a senior Presales Data & AI Architect to join its UK&I Data, AI, and Digital Transformation Practice.

In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with Sales, Portfolio, and Delivery teams to design intelligent, data-driven solutions that help customers leverage data, analytics, and AI to transform operations, accelerate innovation, and improve decision-making.

The role combines data architecture, AI system design, and solution strategy, focusing on AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) and agentic AI within managed service environments. You will define architectures integrating data platforms, AI models, and autonomous agent frameworks to enable scalable, secure, and ethical AI deployments across industries. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers in modernising their data ecosystems and operationalising AI through governed, repeatable, and measurable services.

Skills we can’t do without

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in data architecture, analytics, or AI solution design, ideally within presales or consulting.
  • Deep expertise in data platforms, governance, and AI/ML system design.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-as-a-Service and AI platform solutions in hybrid or managed service environments.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration, and AI lifecycle frameworks including MLOps, LLMOps, and DataOps.
  • Proven presales experience with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with cloud-native AI services and open frameworks such as MLflow, LangChain, Hugging Face, and OpenAI APIs.
  • Ability to ensure ethical and compliant AI deployments in regulated industries.

Educational background and qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional certifications in data, AI, or architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DAMA, or Azure/AWS/GCP AI are desirable.

This UK-based role offers remote working with occasional UK domestic travel. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
