Mercedes-Benz AG is one of the world's most successful automotive companies. The Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen plant is the company's largest production site and a center of competence for producing premium vehicles, including the S-Class, EQS, E-Class and GLC.

For production supply in the assembly halls, the department is seeking support in Hall 46 and Factory 56. You will work as part of the logistics team with logistics planning, assembly and the contracted logistics service provider to implement new processes. The work will primarily take place directly in the assembly and logistics halls.

  • Support operational production supply for all vehicle series
  • Support the organization and management of the logistics service provider
  • Collect key figures as part of shopfloor management
  • Maintain KPI reporting for shopfloor processes and measure service-provider quality
  • Plan and commission new logistics processes, such as baskets with pick-by-light, route processes and supermarkets
  • Analyze data in the SAP production system and create Excel-based evaluations
  • Organize and participate in projects, taking responsibility for a sub-work package
  • Document project status while considering milestones
  • Prepare decision papers for project managers and higher-level committees
  • Prepare and conduct work and project meetings and workshops

The internship starts in early October 2026. The exact start date is flexible and can be agreed individually with the department. The internship lasts six months.

Qualifications

  • Degree program in industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration or a comparable program with a focus on logistics
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking, with a structured and goal-oriented working style
  • Communication skills
  • Project experience is desirable
