Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
• Complete regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, and other payment methods as needed.
• Assist with product ticketing and checking paperwork against items received.
• Assist with product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor on a fill-in basis.
• Assist in developing merchandise displays or follow suggestions and schedules provided by store management.
• Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system and maintain integrity through attention to policy and procedure.
• Use selling techniques such as add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to support sales goals.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding the right product; occasionally serve as a front-door greeter during busy workdays.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store.
• Safeguard company assets and monitor the sales floor for suspicious activity while following security procedures.
• Take part in in-store or digital training to develop product knowledge and role best practices.
• Familiarize yourself with Power BI tools to understand store performance, best sellers, and blackhole products.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Clear and upbeat communication skills.
• Flexibility to work during the week, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Adaptability and ability to handle various tasks and changing circumstances.
