Responsibilities

You will be a key support for the People & Culture function in the store, ensuring the effective administration of all people-related processes. You will work with the Store Manager, the store’s In-Store People & Culture Business Partner and regional office teams to support the company’s human resources strategy.

  • Administer recruitment and hiring, onboarding and integration, training and development, workforce planning, payroll and performance management processes.
  • Support store managers with interview coordination, validation checks, contractual documentation and candidate follow-up.
  • Help plan and manage schedules, control absences and holidays, and process payroll adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate data in human resources systems and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Organize events and activities that strengthen positive store culture, colleague engagement and wellbeing.
  • Support performance management, talent succession and employee relations.
  • Ensure People & Culture processes are managed efficiently and aligned with Primark’s values and objectives.

About you

  • Organized, detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple administrative processes efficiently.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills for working with different teams and supporting People & Culture matters.
  • Proactive, improvement-focused and solution-oriented approach.
  • Previous experience in human resources administration, especially in retail or similar environments, is valued.
  • Knowledge of people management systems, workforce planning and payroll is valued.
  • Geographical mobility is an essential requirement.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Economics or a similar field.
  • Good level of English; additional languages, including sign language, are valued.
