About the role
At DB Breweries, we don’t just brew beer – we craft experiences. We’re looking for a detail-focused Packaging Technician to join the team and help make sure our beer, cider, and RTDs leave the line at the right quality, every time. This is a hands-on role in our Packaging team, suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in working safely and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
- Operate, maintain, and improve packaging machinery to meet production targets.
- Ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
- Take part in the TPM Continuous Improvement programme, using tools such as 5S and Kaizen to improve performance and reduce losses.
- Carry out reactive and preventive maintenance tasks on time.
- Work closely with planning, maintenance, and logistics teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Follow and update Standard Operating Procedures and support team training.
- Be flexible and move across different areas as needed.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years’ experience in packaging or maintenance in brewing, FMCG, or food and beverage environments.
- Experience using maintenance systems and continuous improvement practices.
- Confidence using technology, including phones or tablets, email, online training, and basic systems to record data or raise issues.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- A positive, team-focused approach.
- A willingness to learn and share knowledge.
