Responsibilities
OT Application Performance Improvement: Continually improve the performance of business-critical Operational Applications, including monitoring and management improvements to reduce service-disrupting faults and developing a Strategic Asset Management Plan for OT Applications and Infrastructure.
Design Authority for Development of OT Infrastructure: Authorise developments in current OT infrastructure and work with application suppliers, SSE IT, Neos Networks, and the SSE customer to develop, test, and authorise changes to the architecture of existing Platinum, Gold, and Silver level OT Applications.
Approval of Operational Application Upgrades: Authorise completion of Operational Acceptance Testing for infrastructure supporting business-critical OT Applications, including handover into support and key go/no-go decisions.
Development of RTS Technical Engineers: Provide a development environment to ensure RTS Technical Engineers have sufficient technical and application knowledge to provide robust support and project engineering services.
Technical Expertise: Maintain and develop technical and procedural expertise for Platinum, Gold, and Silver level OT Applications such as PowerOn, PI, and ODMS, while contributing to technical documentation and standards.
Fault Analysis: Mentor RTS Technical Engineers and work with internal and external service providers to investigate and resolve serious Operational Application issues in line with customer service-level agreements.
Skills Requirements
- Operations, configuration, and support experience with GE Vernova PowerOn Advantage ADMS.
- Project experience with PowerOn Mobile, PowerOn upgrades, and PowerOn Outage Management System (OMS) integration.
