Responsibilities
- Continually improve the performance of business-critical operational applications, including monitoring and management of operational systems and development of a Strategic Asset Management Plan.
- Act as Design Authority for development of OT infrastructure, working with application suppliers, SSE IT, Neos Networks, and the SSE customer to develop, test, and authorise architectural changes.
- Approve Operational Application Acceptance Testing, handover into support, and key go/no-go decisions.
- Develop RTS Technical Engineers by providing an environment that supports technical and application knowledge development.
- Maintain and develop technical and procedural expertise for OT applications such as PowerOn, PI, and ODMS.
- Mentor RTS Technical Engineers and investigate and resolve serious Operational Application issues with internal and external service providers in line with service-level agreements.
Skills Required
- Operations, configuration, and support experience with GE Vernova PowerOn Advantage ADMS.
- Project experience with PowerOn Mobile, PowerOn upgrades, and PowerOn Outage Management System integration.
