Atos is seeking an Oracle DBA to provide database engineering and administration for a migration, building, tuning, and migrating databases into a cloud platform while protecting data integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Build, configure, and administer database environments on the target platform.
- Execute data migration, validation, and reconciliation from legacy databases.
- Tune performance and support dual-running data synchronization.
- Resolve database incidents and problems and support defect resolution.
- Maintain database documentation and running instructions.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong experience in Oracle database administration.
- Expertise in data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Proven ability to ensure data integrity and database reliability.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) administration.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Location and working pattern
On-site three days per week at a base location: Benton Park View in Newcastle, Manchester Corporate Hub, or Peel Park in Blackpool. The role follows a hybrid working pattern with a standard eight-hour day, Monday to Friday.
Essential criteria
To be eligible for SC clearance, candidates must have lived and worked continuously in the UK for the past five years.
