About the Role
We are looking for an Operational Excellence Consultant with hands-on experience and a management consultancy background, working on complex business problems, ideally within a technology context. You should understand how organisations are responding to the digital and AI agenda and what this means for people, roles and job transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on improving business operations, including cost reduction and automation.
- Lead consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Work with client stakeholders to understand, document, diagnose and transform business processes and functions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Manage stakeholder relationships.
- Use project management tools and techniques.
- Work autonomously with clients to understand their needs, develop tailored engagement strategies and ensure successful implementation.
- Develop teams to deliver consulting assignments.
- Contribute to the sale of work or extension of contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area.
- Experience in the consulting sector and in roles supporting operational change.
- Experience with collaboration tools and digital platforms such as Microsoft, SAP, ServiceNow and Salesforce.
- Ability and willingness to rapidly develop skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Lean Six Sigma and/or Business Analysis certification.
Additional Requirements
- Strong leading consultancy background, including business analysis engagements.
- UK mobility with regular client-site engagement.
- Security clearance (SC/BPSS), or eligibility and willingness to obtain clearance.
Location: Onsite, with hybrid working across client sites, Atos offices and remote.
