About the Role

We are looking for an Operational Excellence Consultant with hands-on experience and a management consultancy background, working on complex business problems, ideally within a technology context. You should understand how organisations are responding to the digital and AI agenda and what this means for people, roles and job transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on improving business operations, including cost reduction and automation.
  • Lead consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Work with client stakeholders to understand, document, diagnose and transform business processes and functions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Use project management tools and techniques.
  • Work autonomously with clients to understand their needs, develop tailored engagement strategies and ensure successful implementation.
  • Develop teams to deliver consulting assignments.
  • Contribute to the sale of work or extension of contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area.
  • Experience in the consulting sector and in roles supporting operational change.
  • Experience with collaboration tools and digital platforms such as Microsoft, SAP, ServiceNow and Salesforce.
  • Ability and willingness to rapidly develop skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Business Analysis certification.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong leading consultancy background, including business analysis engagements.
  • UK mobility with regular client-site engagement.
  • Security clearance (SC/BPSS), or eligibility and willingness to obtain clearance.

Location: Onsite, with hybrid working across client sites, Atos offices and remote.

Benefits

  • Pension scheme with contributions matched up to 10%.
  • Private medical cover.
  • Income protection.
  • Life assurance.
  • 25 days paid leave plus national holidays.
  • Flex benefits programme.

Diversity & Inclusion

Atos is a Disability Confident and care-leaver-friendly employer committed to a fair and inclusive work environment. Reasonable adjustments are available during the application and assessment process.
