CACEIS is the asset servicing banking group of Crédit Agricole dedicated to asset managers and institutional investors. Through offices across Europe, North and South America and Asia, CACEIS offers services covering execution, clearing, foreign exchange, securities lending, custody, depositary, fund administration, fund distribution support, middle-office outsourcing and issuer services.
The MKS Operations Officer supports the day-to-day activities of the Market Solutions Operations team, which operates across four core activities:
- OTC derivatives processing
- Listed derivatives clearing
- Liquidity management
- Foreign exchange operations
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely automatic upload and manual input of derivative transactions, including IRS, CDS, OTC options and inflation swaps, into internal systems.
- Reconcile positions with Portfolio Managers and counterparties, investigate breaks and booking discrepancies, and ensure prompt resolution.
- Validate cash movements, reconcile cash balances, investigate differences and perform controls supporting day-to-day liquidity management.
- Identify and escalate potential liquidity issues, unusual balances and operational risks.
- Monitor trade feeds from exchanges such as CME, ICE and Eurex and perform position reconciliations.
- Track lifecycle events including expiries, exercises, assignments and maturities, and resolve rejected, missing or unmatched transactions.
- Confirm the economic details of foreign exchange transactions in accordance with client instructions and internal procedures.
- Monitor contract expirations and other lifecycle events across derivatives.
- Confirm transaction details with counterparties and clients while maintaining high standards of accuracy and operational risk control.
Profile
Experience in investment operations, derivatives, clearing, custody, fund administration or another financial-services environment is an asset. Knowledge of derivatives, foreign exchange, settlements, reconciliations or cash management is also an asset.

The position requires a high school, secondary school, A levels, AS levels or IB education level and 0–2 years of experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with Traders, counterparties, clearing brokers, custodians and internal departments.
