Job Description

At NIKE retail stores, retail assistants are called “Athletes.” Nike Kenilworth is looking for an Athlete to join the team and provide world-class service to consumers.

What you bring

• Use expertise in exceptional consumer service and product knowledge to deliver a premium brand experience.
• Support store departments by operating the cash register, managing incoming and outgoing goods, replenishing products, and building visual displays.
• Recommend appropriate products to reach sales targets.
• Use digital devices to create connections with consumers in the store.
• Inform consumers and new teammates about NIKE products and services.
• Improve knowledge through tools and training courses and stay up to date on sales trends, products, services, and culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Grade 12 Senior Certificate.
• Effective communication in English; resume should be provided in English.
• Must live in Cape Town and be able to work in Kenilworth.
• Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
• Effective communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate.
• Ability to apply product sales techniques.
• Flexible scheduling and availability for retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
