NIKE, Inc. is looking for the next Athlete to join the Nike Kenilworth team and provide world-class service to consumers. At NIKE retail stores, retail assistants are called Athletes.

What you bring

• Use expertise in exceptional consumer service and product knowledge to deliver a premium brand experience.
• Support store departments by operating the cash register, managing incoming and outgoing goods, replenishing products on the shop floor and building visual displays.
• Recommend appropriate products to reach sales targets.
• Use digital devices to create a connection between sales and services in the store.
• Inform consumers and new teammates about NIKE products and services.
• Improve your knowledge through tools and training courses covering sales trends, NIKE products, services and culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Gr12 Senior Certificate.
• Able to communicate effectively in English; resumes should be provided in English.
• Must live in Cape Town and be able to work in Kenilworth.
• Customer service and/or retail experience is preferred.
• Effective communicator, brand ambassador and collaborative teammate.
• Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques.
• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, based on department and store or company needs.
