Network & Power Domain HW Architect

Objective

Responsible for translating system requirements into scalable hardware platform architectures with a focus on networking, connectivity, power distribution, and platform infrastructure.

Drive hardware architecture definition, technology roadmap planning, component ecosystem development, and supplier technical evaluations for future cockpit, ADAS, and centralized computing platforms.

Act as a key technical representative of the hardware organization in platform-level discussions with system architects, software architects, suppliers, and global development teams, while actively participating in hardware solution definition and critical technology decisions.

Qualifications

Education

• Master degree in electronic/electro-technic, computer science or similar course of studies.
• Fluent English and Chinese is mandatory; German language knowledge is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience in hardware development, hardware architecture, system design, or related technical leadership roles.
• Extensive experience in automotive networking, high-speed connectivity, power architecture, domain controllers, cockpit, ADAS, centralized compute, or related platforms.
• Proven track record of leading architecture discussions, technical reviews, and platform-level solution evaluations.
• Experience translating product and system requirements into scalable hardware platform architectures.
• Strong experience driving technical trade-offs involving compute, networking, power, thermal, reliability, cost, scalability, and vehicle integration constraints.
• Experience working directly with OEMs, Tier1 suppliers, semiconductor vendors, and global engineering organizations.
• Experience defining technology roadmaps, preferred component ecosystems, and reusable platform architectures.
• Experience participating in executive-level technical discussions and influencing key architecture decisions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical capability development across organizations.
• Hands-on experience throughout the full product lifecycle from concept development to mass production.
