Manager Supply Chain Business Intelligence (Power BI / SQL) (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

Drive excellence in reporting and analytics capabilities to increase transparency and visibility across the adidas supply chain organization. The Manager of Supply Chain Business Intelligence will build and enhance standardized, harmonized, and scalable reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable reporting solutions and visualize data using BI tools such as Power BI.
• Utilize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data while standardizing and harmonizing data.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the Data Transformation team.
• Develop, validate, and document relevant metrics across markets.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation in Confluence.
• Manage deployment of reporting capabilities, including dashboard performance optimization, data validation, and user onboarding.
• Coordinate and contribute to user acceptance testing and change management for new reporting capabilities.
• Run root cause analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Relationships

Stakeholders include global and market Supply Chain Management functions, Supply Chain Strategy and Digital Solutions, Global DNA, Global TECH, and external developers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service reports using Power BI.
• Strong skills in DAX, data modeling, report performance optimization, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor.
• Experience gathering, extracting, and transforming data across sources using tools such as SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of KPIs, operational processes, and the trade-offs between speed and accuracy.
• Ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate across teams.

Requisite Education and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in reporting and analytics, including front-end visualization and tools such as SQL and Python.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Planning, or Information Systems.
• Proven experience in a business intelligence role with strong understanding of BI concepts, tools, and methodologies.
• Understanding of supply chain principles, logistics terminology, basic finance, and cross-functional interdependencies.
