Purpose
A key player in Global Sourcing in driving Sourcing’s vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Lead a supply planning team in several Operations Centers in supplying products with the goal of matching supply to demand at the right time and at a competitive cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of all standard planning processes in multiple operations centers and lead the OC and factory planning teams in achieving the highest level of product availability through active KPI management, timely problem solving, and implementation of adidas policies and procedures.
- Build, develop, motivate, and lead the OC planning team.
- Drive initiatives and cross-functional alignment on planning direction in the respective Operations Centers to meet and exceed service levels to the brands and evolve planning processes and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive allocation decisions within the respective Operations Centers while considering manufacturing constraints at Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels.
- Monitor and communicate factors likely to impact Tier 1 and Tier 2 delivery performance and drive improvement action plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying bottlenecks and complexities related to critical materials and implement corrective actions.
- Manage stakeholders in implementing planning process improvements and ensuring production priorities are executed.
- Assist in rolling out global initiatives and participate as a project member or subject matter expert on global-scale projects.
- Verify and cross-audit suppliers regarding capacity reliability, order confirmation accuracy, product transfer execution, and planning reliability.
- Drive on-time approval of additional mold requests.
- Drive a customer-focused mentality across Operations Centers to improve satisfaction among sales organizations.
- Ensure sourcing operations comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards, and legal requirements.
- Role model leadership to foster a culture of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Successful experience in a manufacturing environment with good knowledge of the sporting goods industry.
- Strong influencing, people, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead multidimensional teams.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Requisite Education and Experience
Diploma or degree in a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Minimum 5+ years of relevant business experience.
