Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all LEAN topics across the Mexico City distribution center.
- Lead, develop and manage a direct team, including performance management, coaching, capability building and succession planning.
- Provide cross-functional leadership across the operation and embed a sustainable continuous improvement culture.
- Manage the implementation of LEAN methodology, improvement projects, benchmarking partnerships and standard work.
- Maintain the Labor Management tool, including process analyses, time studies and labor planning.
- Develop and maintain Power BI operational dashboards for productivity, rate per hour, effective and idle time, and real-time monitoring.
- Ensure data integrity and governance, automate manual reports and build a savings and efficiency pipeline.
- Drive SOP and 6S standardization and lead the distribution center’s Performance Ecosystem maturity toward GOLD standard readiness.
- Support operational targets through Lean, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Business Partners and Contacts
DC Director, Regional Lean Manager, warehouse and supply chain operations management, Industrial Engineering, IT and BI teams, Finance, process owners and the regional continuous improvement community.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience applying LEAN concepts.
- Statistical and analytical problem-solving skills, strong communication and facilitation abilities, and demonstrated project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
- Business intelligence and data visualization skills, including Power BI, data modeling, Power Query/ETL, dashboard design, advanced Excel and KPI definition.
- Ability to validate data sources, ensure data governance and quantify business impact, savings and efficiency gains.
- Fluency in English and the local language; a third language is a plus.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or another relevant discipline.
- Experience in logistics or manufacturing operations.
- Education as a certified LEAN Ambassador or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
- Experience in BI, operational analytics, dashboard development, productivity, cost reduction or automation projects preferred.
