The Manager, Ecom Outlet Product Merchandising, is responsible for managing excess inventory within the European e-commerce outlet business.
The role requires strong commercial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and a high level of attention to data accuracy. The ability to work with complex datasets, extract insights for decision-making, and provide accurate reporting for stakeholders is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the eCommerce Outlet Merchandising Strategy within a defined category scope, managing excess inventory and factory outlet assortment buys to maximize sell-through, revenue, and profitability.
- Partner with inline merchandising, buying, and planning teams to manage the smooth transition of products from full-price to outlet.
- Ensure data accuracy across all merchandising systems and reports, including product availability, pricing, and stock movement.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales performance, sell-through rates, stock cover, and price effectiveness, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate the planning of commercial moments across the outlet team and key stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance key reports and tools.
- Work with the pricing team to define markdown strategies.
- Drive regular excess inventory reviews.
- Track and manage the flow of inventory into the e-commerce outlet.
- Provide accurate product and inventory data to support promotional planning and campaign execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and reporting.
- Support the seasonal planning process.
- Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Experience working with merchandising and planning systems; familiarity with MicroStrategy or similar tools is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English.
Required Education and Experience
- University degree in business administration, merchandising, supply chain management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years’ experience in e-commerce merchandising, preferably with exposure to excess inventory, clearance, or outlet management.
- Experience working in buying, planning, or supply chain teams within a multi-market, multi-channel environment.
- Previous experience working with large datasets and creating reports to support decision-making.
