What will you do?
- Oversee the daily activities of the Client Portfolio Compliance Kuala Lumpur team, ensuring all controls are accurately and completely performed within the system.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Division and Head of Line to apply the operational strategy for CACEIS effectively.
- Lead and execute projects aligned with the Client Portfolio Compliance team strategy.
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure comprehensive risk coverage across the business.
- Manage the team efficiently to ensure all services are delivered accurately and timely.
- Drive the development and management of staff and organizational capabilities.
- Act as the escalation point for the team to resolve issues promptly.
- Foster strong team interaction and communication to support operational excellence.
- Contribute to defining strategy and future direction for the Client Portfolio Compliance function.

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education focused on accounting or finance, or equivalent.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Strong technical and financial knowledge of risk management environments, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks including UCITS Directives, ESMA guidelines, and European national laws applicable to UCIs.
- Solid understanding of financial products and derivatives instruments.
- Expertise in financial instrument eligibility analysis.
- Good knowledge of cross-location operations, systems, and IT environments compliant with rules and procedures.
- Proven experience in team governance and people development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, strategic decision-making, change management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines or SLA requirements.
- Team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have: superior or relevant financial education, knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and proficiency in German, Italian, or French.
