Job Overview
This position will assist the Program Planning Team with logistics-relevant activities at Mercedes-Benz Vans. The intern will observe, support and learn critical points under the direct guidance of a professional specialist or manager while carrying out assigned tasks in production logistics.
Responsibilities
- Develop a tracking and reporting tool
- Support process improvements
- Develop sequencing system tracking
- Perform other activities as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduated within the past 12 months or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics or a related Engineering field
- Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Supplier Quality is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills
- Spanish and/or German is a plus but not required
- Applicants must be able to work full-time at the plant
Preferred Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university, in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, or a recent graduate
- At least three semesters of study in a relevant field
- Available for a minimum of six months

- Hourly pay rate of $20.00 for the internship program
- Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC does not offer assisted living or a relocation package for this assignment
