About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will work alongside experienced developers to design, build, and maintain web applications, contribute to backend services, and help deliver intelligent, AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js.
- Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React.js.
- Assist in the development and integration of AI/ML models into production applications.
- Work with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini to build AI-powered features.
- Support data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation pipelines.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and improve code quality and best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Use NX-Open APIs for prototyping, development, and complex solutions.
- Build and deploy projects to test environments.
- Create architecture documentation, specifications, and UI logic.
- Develop quick proofs of concept using modern technologies.
- Manage customer communication and coordinate meetings for technical decisions.
- Work toward individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives.
- Comply with organizational HR, HSE, and related policies and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or a related field, from a reputed university.
- Three to six years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python for backend development, scripting, and AI/ML workflows.
- Working knowledge of Node.js and RESTful API development.
- Hands-on experience with React.js.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering and LLM APIs.
- Experience with NumPy and Pandas.
- Knowledge of Git, SQL or NoSQL databases, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of C# (.NET), VB, C/C++, scripting, XML, Visual Studio, Siemens NX, NXOpen/UFUNC APIs, UI/Block Styler/WPF, and NX modeling and drafting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience building or fine-tuning machine learning models.
- Familiarity with RAG pipelines or vector databases such as Pinecone and Weaviate.
- Exposure to MLOps tools including MLflow and Weights & Biases.
- Experience with AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Azure ML.
- Familiarity with Docker and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
