Java Application Engineer

Atos is seeking a Java Application Engineer for a permanent position in Taipei, Taiwan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, IT, or a related subject.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java application development with proven practical experience.
• Experience in the card payment, digital payment, or banking industry is an advantage.
• Experience with object-oriented software development.
• Working experience with Java technologies, Spring frameworks, APIs, RESTful services, and JUnit.
• Database experience with SQL, Oracle, or similar database technologies.
• Experience with software engineering tools including IDEs, debuggers, version control systems such as GitLab and Git, Maven, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience in unit testing and integration testing.
• Experience with Linux environments, including shell scripting and software packaging, is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Good written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills.
• Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
• Working experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js and web front-end development frameworks.
