IT Strategy & Performance - Senior / Managing Consultant

The Business Technology practice is a leading CIO and CTO advisory and technology innovation team in the UK and Europe. Our consultants work with major FTSE 100 and government clients to help them achieve strategic goals and use technology to drive sustainable growth and change.

Your role

The IT Strategy & Performance team operates across Technology Strategy, IT Cost & Value, and IT Mergers and Acquisitions. We are seeking Senior and Managing Consultant candidates with experience across these disciplines, particularly Technology Strategy and IT Cost & Value.

• Lead workstreams and project teams in complex technology engagements, including Technology Strategy & Transformation and technology cost transformation.
• Drive cultural and organisational change to align IT and business stakeholders around strategy, cost and value objectives.
• Advise on the strategic role of technology and how to operationalise technology capabilities.
• Translate complex technical findings into actionable commercial insights and deliverable strategies.
• Contribute to offerings, capability building, market-unit growth and client proposals.
• Provide leadership on AI, advanced analytics, cybersecurity and cloud-native architectures.
• Support business development, internal contribution, learning and development activities.

Your profile

• At least 4 years of consulting experience across Technology Strategy and/or IT Cost & Value.
• A strong track record delivering Digital Strategy & Transformation and/or technology cost transformation projects.
• Technical and strategic expertise in areas including Technology Strategy, Target Operating Model Design, Transformation Roadmapping, Business-IT Alignment, IT Financial Management, Total Cost of Ownership, Application Portfolio Rationalisation, Benchmarking and Optimisation.
• Experience managing teams or workstreams in complex delivery environments and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Experience identifying practical applications of technology to create value from technology investments.

These roles are based in London, Manchester or Glasgow, with Newcastle upon Tyne also listed as a location. Employees must be fully flexible regarding assignment locations, including periods away from home at short notice. The remuneration package includes flexible benefits and a variable element dependent on grade and company and personal performance.
