The Inventory/Quality Control Supervisor (IC/QC) is a member of the Distribution Center management team. This role continuously optimizes distribution center inventory accuracy and SOP compliance by engaging stakeholders, improving metrics, refining processes, and removing operational waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all Inventory/Quality Control functions in the Distribution Center and achieve service-level and quality targets.
  • Train, cross-train, manage, and develop IC/QA associates.
  • Maintain working knowledge of WCS and WMS platforms.
  • Collect, report, and provide feedback on operations using SAP, Excel, queries, Power BI, SCI, and WMS reporting.
  • Report Inventory/Quality Control metrics covering distribution center compliance, cuts, inventory availability, quality, and safety.
  • Create a positive team environment that encourages feedback, process improvement, adaptability, and customer focus.
  • Maintain OSHA safety standards and report accidents, injuries, damages, and potential safety threats.
  • Ensure associates maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
  • Identify, report, and follow up on property damage and safety concerns.
  • Support Lean Six Sigma activities and perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-moving consumer goods distribution environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, planning, organization, analytical, and data manipulation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work safely on elevated surfaces and perform extensive walking and standing on hard surfaces.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • At least two years of related distribution experience and/or training.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
