Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. (MBUSI) is hiring an international student for a paid internship supporting ramp-up logistics at its Tuscaloosa, Alabama, manufacturing operation.

Essential Functions

  • BR167 MOPF2 Project Management Support: Facilitate cross-functional workshops, maintain BVAs within START, track late change requests, and coordinate with MRPs and suppliers for documentation confirmations.
  • Automation and Digitalization Initiative: Help further develop and improve a KPI dashboard for ramp-up logistics KPIs that provides an overview of group performance during ramp-up trials.
  • Other Regular Daily Tasks: Provide SAP support for MRPs, support project coordinators on projects relating to building up new vehicles overseas and on pilot and main production lines, and maintain dashboard links and KPIs.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all education, experience, and skills requirements.

  • Student in ramp-up logistics, business administration, supply chain management, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supply chain experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Strong Excel experience.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a university or in a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree.
  • Studies outside the U.S.; applications from students currently studying in the U.S. are not accepted.
  • At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
  • Available for a minimum of six months.

Internship Details

  • Preferred start date: March 2027.
  • Paid internship with an hourly rate of $18.
  • Visa costs covered.
  • $700 housing bonus.
