Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. (MBUSI) is hiring an international student for a paid internship in quality management and market analysis at its Tuscaloosa, Alabama facility.
MBUSI manufactures luxury SUVs, including electric vehicles, and produces high-performance lithium-ion batteries at its Alabama campuses. Essential Functions
- Implement various measures and processes, including IQS, QFS, and KPI effectiveness.
- Coordinate and collaborate with plants around the world to ensure customer needs are being met.
- Create and support market data surrounding specific topics or trends.
- Analyze customer feedback.
- Track clean point effectiveness.
- Analyze and report field sensor data.
- Track and report top issues.
Qualifications
Education: Student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Skills:
- Fluent in English, orally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in KPI tracking and reporting.
- Communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Process engineering knowledge.
- Process mining knowledge.
Benefits and Requirements
- Paid internship with an hourly rate of $18.
- Visa costs covered.
- $700 monthly housing stipend.
- Currently enrolled in university or in a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree.
- Studies outside the United States.
- Minimum of three semesters of study in a relevant field.
- Availability for a minimum of six months.
