Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. (MBUSI) is hiring an international student intern to support quality audit management at its Tuscaloosa, Alabama manufacturing site.
This is a paid internship supporting quality, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement across MBUSI’s advanced automotive manufacturing facilities.
Essential Functions
- Support Zeus tracking and reporting for all new model and facelift launches.
- Maintain and support the Technical Product Audit Process.
- Maintain the VoCA Scorecard using Power BI and Python scripting.
- Support new digitalization efforts in audit.
Qualifications
Education: Student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven time-management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Flexibility in work timing.
Preferred Start Date
March 2027
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university or in a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree.
- Studies outside the United States; applications from students currently studying in the United States are not accepted.
- A minimum of three semesters of study in a relevant field.
- Availability for a minimum of six months.
Compensation and Benefits
- Paid internship with an hourly rate of $18.
