Tasks
Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is hiring Specialists and Team Members to support the production of luxury SUV and electric vehicle models at its advanced manufacturing facilities in Alabama.

Essential functions:
- Benchmark different AI-based visual inspection systems
- Set up camera systems in production
- Define detectors
- Evaluate the accuracy of AI responses
- Benchmark different AI systems
- Prepare results in management slides
Other regular daily tasks:
- Support body-in-white production and assembly
- 3D modeling and prototyping
Qualifications
Education: Student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
- CAD, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX
- Java programming
- Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and neural networks
- Analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university or in a gap year between a Bachelor's and Master's degree
- Studies outside the United States; applications from students currently studying in the United States are not accepted
- At least three semesters of study in a relevant field
- Available for a minimum of six months
