Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is hiring for its Tuscaloosa County manufacturing site, which produces luxury SUV models including electric vehicles, and its Bibb County battery production campus.
Essential functions include:
- Coordinate maintenance preparation activities for new model projects.
- Coordinate training, spare parts, document checks, snag lists, and supplier SLAs.
- Plan, coordinate, and communicate various projects and tasks.
- Prepare system acceptance and create and track initiatives.
- Execute meetings and create meeting minutes.
- Provide general support.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to combine strong technical understanding with people coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Finance/Controlling, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent in English and German, both orally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Team-oriented with distinctive interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Affinity for numbers and good organizational skills.
- Structured and self-reliant.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university or in a gap year between a bachelor’s and master’s degree.
- Studies must be outside the United States; applications from students currently studying in the United States are not accepted.
- At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
- Available for a minimum of six months.
