This is a paid internship.
Essential Functions
- Develop KPI dashboards to facilitate proactive supplier management.
- Prepare KPI-based presentations for top management.
- Participate in regular national and international project meetings.
- Prepare and present current supplier capacity status in project meetings.
- Analyze supplier-related data points.
- Gain manufacturing knowledge by visiting local suppliers.
Other Regular Daily Tasks
- Participate in daily team meetings and regular external communication.
- Support external communication with suppliers.
- Support code development alongside team data analysts.
Qualifications
Education: Student in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Fluent English proficiency; good German skills preferred.
- Ability to create reports and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic supply chain understanding.
- Project management skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Open-mindedness and ideally experience with different cultures.
- High flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- High motivation and willingness to learn.
- Supplier development and/or manufacturing knowledge is favorable.
- Knowledge of automotive companies is a plus.
- First experience with Power BI is beneficial.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Apps, is preferred.
Internship Details
- Preferred start date: February 2027.
- Paid internship with an hourly rate of $18.
- Visa costs covered.
- $700 housing bonus.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a university or in a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree.
- Studies must be outside the United States; applications from students currently studying in the United States are not accepted.
- At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
- Availability for a minimum of six months.
