Tasks
Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is hiring an intern to support its Financial Operations Team and contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.
- Use Power BI, Excel Power Query, PowerPoint with ThinkCell, OneNote, and other tools to create efficiencies in reporting.
- Generate ideas for continuous improvement in other processes using new technology.
- Develop digitalization projects that transform manual routine tasks into automated solutions using RPA, Power BI, Excel Power Query, and related tools.
- Perform the monthly QTC tire payment process.
- Create, edit, and refine work instructions and process documentation.
- Support the Financial Operations Team with continuous improvement projects, administrative tasks, and digitalization of processes and tasks.
- Support project management for a new financial system implementation.
Other Regular Tasks
- Support the team in preparing and organizing meetings and events requiring mass email communication.
- Perform administrative tasks including calendar management, ad hoc reporting, compiling information and data, email communication, and other duties.
- Complete and support other assigned projects or tasks.
Qualifications
Applicants must be students in Finance or Controlling, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related area, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail, particularly in communication and presentations.
- Ability to work under pressure and complete many tasks in a timely manner.
- Skill in using technology and digital platforms.
- Ability to learn quickly and think outside the box.
- Willingness to perform both administrative and strategic tasks.
Preferred skills include intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI and Power Query, knowledge of VBA and SAP, and project management experience.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a university or in a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree.
- Studies outside the United States; applications from students currently studying in the United States are not accepted.
- At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
- Availability for a minimum of six months.
