Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is hiring an Internship as Finance Specialist (International Student) for its Product Cost, Controlling & Customs department in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Essential Functions

  • Fully support a team that includes Supply Chain Controlling, Tool Controlling, Product Cost Engineering, and Customs.
  • Utilize Power BI to digitalize reports and make them more efficient and effective for business partners.
  • Analyze data and support continuous improvement.

Other Regular Daily Tasks

  • Support tooling controlling, including tool audits, communication with the supply base, and asset tag management.
  • Support inventory controlling, including analysis and digitalization of reporting.

Qualifications

Education: Student in Finance/Controlling, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

  • Fluent in English, oral and written.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Dashboard creation experience with Power BI.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in university or in a gap year between a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
  • Studies outside the United States; applications from students currently studying in the United States are not accepted.
  • At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
  • Available for a minimum of six months.

Internship Details

  • Preferred start date: March 2027.
  • Paid internship with an hourly rate of $18.
  • Coverage of visa costs.
  • $700 housing bonus.
