Essential Functions
As part of the factory planning team, support building, conveyor, and other factory projects at MBUSI, with a focus on achieving the best possible quality.
- Prepare and support the creation of project coordination documents.
- Detail planning scopes.
- Create decision papers, schedules, and materials for project meetings and steering committees, including cost reporting.
- Prepare weekly and monthly management summary reports.
- Organize and prepare meetings and workshops.
- Record and track important project dates, milestones, project progress, and project status, with a focus on controlling and financial topics.
Other Regular Daily Tasks
- Plan, coordinate, and communicate weekend activities.
- Prepare system acceptance activities and create and track specific deficiencies.
- Execute meetings and create meeting minutes.
- Perform onsite checks and provide general support.
Qualifications
Education: Student in Mechanical Engineering, Finance/Controlling, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary skills:
- Fluent in English and German, both oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Team-oriented with distinctive interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Affinity for numbers.
- Good organizational skills.
- Self-reliant and structured.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university or in a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree.
- Studies outside the U.S.
- At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
- Available for a minimum of six months.
Internship Details and Benefits
- Paid internship with an hourly rate of $18.
- Coverage of visa costs.
- $700 housing bonus.
