Intern, Purchasing

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Ltd. is offering a six-month full-time internship for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Intern in Ho Chi Minh City.

Responsibilities

• Support the QMS process audit.
• Screen and sort potential suppliers for specific commodities and send Requests for Information and Proposals.
• Clarify specifications and scope of work with business partners or requesting departments.
• Compare quotations and analyze and negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms, delivery, warranty conditions, and other benefits.
• Collect and transfer documents internally to support buyers and other departments.
• Record meeting minutes, prepare presentation files, and sort or extract data for Excel reports.
• Perform other tasks as requested.

Qualifications

• Vietnamese citizen with full legal eligibility to work in Vietnam.
• Remain a student throughout the six-month internship period, including the end of March 2027.
• Undergraduate student in Economics, Finance, Foreign Trade, or a related Supply Chain major.
• Available for a full-time internship for six months, eight hours per day and five days per week.
• Detail-oriented, accurate with numerical data and reports, proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Good Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
