Task Learnings

Quality

  • Learn packaging laboratory analysis methods and provide supervision during testing activities.
  • Assist with repeat Redpost PU checks in Bottling and Canning when results fall within the yellow zone, referencing Qualass data.
  • Learn basic line processes that contribute to quality and highlight abnormalities when detected.
  • Perform monthly sample collections if assigned.
  • Perform test bottle fabrication as required.

Cost

  • Learn packaging loss points, including extract and material losses, and perform data collection.
  • Gain insight into operating processes and technological losses.

Routine and TPM

  • Participate in daily Packaging DCS updates for PU and microbes.
  • Assist with 7S activities in Packaging.
  • Check CILT records on the line and remind shopfloor personnel to complete CILT tasks and records.

Administrative

  • Maintain HACCP, ISO, and FSSC documentation, ensuring documents are signed and coordinating the approved disposal of documents three years and older.
  • Raise assigned purchase requisitions and perform goods receipt notes, such as for stationery, using SAP.
  • Support Packaging visitor visitation procedures with Security and learn company COVID safety procedures.

Miscellaneous

  • Perform item collections and pass items to Packaging members when instructed.
  • Contribute to projects or tasks assigned by the team or line manager.
  • Support the Team Leader, Technologist, and Technical Support Manager in energy sustainability and governance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Engineering.
  • Well versed in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Willing to work on site; no work from home.
