Eviden, part of the Atos Group, is seeking a Domain Architect for IaaS to design and oversee distributed infrastructure systems across hundreds of locations. You will lead the architecture of complex, modular, and highly available systems while working with senior architects, delivery, and engineering teams.

This senior position requires expertise in software architecture, infrastructure development, and cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes environments. The role covers the full lifecycle of infrastructure solutions, from conceptual design through implementation, including integration with existing systems, datacenter infrastructure, distributed services, containerization, and cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop modular and distributed software architectures.
  • Lead the evolution of a highly available system spanning multiple locations.
  • Oversee distributed service architectures using APIs and messaging.
  • Manage sequenced and dependency-based task management across distributed environments.
  • Develop solutions in Kubernetes, focusing on Kubernetes operator development.
  • Collaborate on the design of HTML UI architectures.
  • Manage infrastructure components including IAM/OAuth, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana for monitoring and logging.
  • Use Python, GoLang, RabbitMQ, Celery, Pydantic Models, and ArangoDB.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and communicate architectural solutions clearly to peers and senior teams.

Must-Have Skills

  • At least 7 years of experience in software architecture, especially IaaS.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes application and operator development.
  • Strong background in distributed systems and task management.
  • Proficiency in Python, GoLang, and REST APIs using FastAPI.
  • Experience with Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of distributed service architectures, including APIs and messaging.
  • Experience with graph modeling and plugin frameworks for various deployment requirements.
  • Fluent English at C1 level for documentation and communication.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with VRF, VLAN, VXLAN, hypervisors, firewalls, and storage systems.
  • Experience with IAM and OAuth authentication.
  • Knowledge of physical datacenter infrastructure.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ArangoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of distributed systems performance tuning.
