Human Resources Internship - Head of HR & Project Management

Tasks

The Human Resources Intern will support the Head of HR and HR Management Team with projects related to HR programs, including HR project management, HR administration, data entry, and data audits. The internship offers the opportunity to partner with HR leaders and gain experience in process improvement and implementation.

• Support functional Human Resources activities, including task coordination, operations under supervision, and process optimization.
• Collect internal and external information for reports and statistical research, including onboarding and setup activities.
• Assist with HR Harmonization project planning, organization, execution, and communication.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Process paperwork according to established procedures.
• Maintain confidential records and provide administrative support.
• Handle client requests, deliver solutions where possible, and escalate requests when necessary.
• Proofread documents and work with key personnel on project concepts, objectives, and approaches.
• Support concept implementation and meeting scheduling.
• Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proactivity and ability to work independently.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Recent graduate within the past 12 months or current junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Communication, or a comparable field.

Preferred Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university or in a gap year between bachelor's and master's degrees.
• At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
• Availability for at least six months, preferably up to eleven months.
• Preferred start date: January 2026.

Additional Details

The hourly pay rate is $20.00 for the internship program. Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC does not offer assisted living or a relocation package for this position.
