HR Generalist - People & Culture Administrator

Location: Northern Italy or Central-Southern Italy, with a housing contribution of up to €2,000 gross per month for 18 months and reimbursement of relocation expenses.

Employment: Permanent, full-time contract, 40 hours per week over five days, with shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Compensation: Third level under the ConfCommercio Commerce, Distribution and Services collective agreement, with a gross annual salary of €28,500 paid over 14 months.

About Primark

Primark is expanding throughout Italy and building People & Culture teams for its stores. You will join the HR team of a dynamic, international and growing business, supporting the people processes of a store with at least 100 colleagues.

Your role

Reporting to the Store People & Culture Business Partner, you will progressively take on responsibility for:

  • Administration: entering attendance records, managing shift changes, sickness, holidays and payslips.
  • Organisation: supporting managers with schedules based on commercial requirements and organising holiday plans.
  • Recruitment: publishing vacancies, screening CVs and interviewing candidates for sales roles.
  • Training: managing new-colleague induction, training processes and development plans.
  • Safety: organising mandatory training, reporting, personal protective equipment and emergency plans.

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist in structured organisations.
  • Positive, energetic and dynamic approach, with collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people skills, empathy and excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday over five working days.
  • Willingness to relocate within Italy, with a preference between the Northern and Central-Southern areas.
