Job description
Primark is seeking an HR Generalist - People & Culture Administrator to join the People & Culture team supporting a store with at least 100 colleagues. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and possible relocation support within Italy.
Contract and benefits
- Permanent employment contract.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, five days out of seven, with shifts from Monday to Sunday.
- Gross annual salary of €28,500 over 14 payments, with third-level classification under the ConfCommercio Commerce, Distribution and Services collective agreement.
- Housing contribution of up to €2,000 gross per month for 18 months and reimbursement of relocation expenses.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Store People & Culture Business Partner, you will progressively take responsibility for:
- Administration: entering attendance records, shift changes, absences, holidays, and managing payslips.
- Organisation: understanding scheduling processes, supporting managers in creating schedules based on commercial needs, and organising holiday plans.
- Recruitment: publishing vacancies, screening CVs, and interviewing candidates for sales assistant roles.
- Training: managing onboarding and induction for new colleagues and supporting development plans.
- Safety: organising mandatory training, reporting, personal protective equipment, and emergency plans.
Requirements
- Experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist in a structured organisation.
- Positive, energetic, dynamic, collaborative, and able to solve problems.
- Strong people skills, relationship-building ability, and empathy.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office.
- Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
- Willingness to relocate within Italy, with the option to express a preference between Northern Italy and Central-Southern Italy.
